Update regarding Mosques Opening
Hijri Date

Alhumdulillah by the Grace and Favour of Allah swt we are glad to announce that Jamia Hanfia Rizvia AND Al Noor Masjid will be open for congregational prayers from Magrib Salah on Thursday 23 rd July. The Committee and Volunteers have worked extremely hard to ensure that the Masjid are compliant with all Government Guidelines with regards to Covid-19. This has meant big changes have been put in place to ensure the safety of worshippers and our Community.
Please note there will be a reduced capacity to ensure appropriate 2m social distancing
is being adhered to. Please be patient, as where capacity has been reached, we will ensure a
second Jamaat will be done.
Currently anyone under 12 or over 70 years of age will be strongly advised not to enter the
Masjid for congregational prayers. The same rules apply to those with pre-existing medical
conditions that puts them at high risk with regards to Covid 19.
We strongly advise you to follow all the rules put in place and work with our Volunteers. Please
note every attendee MUST undergo a temperature check and sign in each time they attend for
Please ensure you respect the 2m Social Distancing and only prayer in the marked out
Please ensure you bring a mask, prayer mat and shoe bag. Failure to adhere to this will mean
you will not be able to enter the Masjid premises.
I would finally like to thank the Community for the patience that it has shown during this difficult
