Father's Day - An Important Message!

Only when you become a father you really understand how many sacrifices your father must have made for your wellbeing and how much he must have worried about your future, at a time when you were not able to have your own opinions or brag about how intelligent and educated you are.

Fathers usually dont talk about their personal struggles, whether they be financially or other. The society also tends to undermine the importance of men in relation to their children. People run after spiritual guides while neglecting the greatest of blessings and means for their salvation - their parents.

The Prophet ﷺ have reported to have said that "A righteous child who looks upon his parents, even a single glance of genuine affection, receives a reward from Allah equal to the reward of an accepted Hajj."

So, by merely glancing at your parents with love and affection, you are rewarded with an acepted Hajj. You can make 100 Hajjs, but with the wrong intentions or motives, those Hajjs may be rejected (also all those selfies and photos wasted) even tough you are enjoying titles like Haji or Alhaaj. We should set our priorities right.

May Allah bless our fathers (that have passed away) with eternal happiness in Jannatul Firdaus with the company of the Prophet ﷺ, all Anbiya, Sahaba, Ahlul Bayt, the Awliya, and all other Saliheen. For those that still have their fathers around, may Allah grant yor fathers spiritual, physical and mental wellbeing and a long life.
